The Russian Znanie Society is Russia's largest educational organization. It organizes marathons, contests, and other events for young people, arranges performances by outstanding people, makes films, and helps lecturers to be heard. On April 21, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for the relaunch of the Znanie Society on a modern digital platform in his Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Since the relaunch, the organization has brought together more than 23,000 lecturers who have delivered over 115,000 lectures. 50 million people participated in youth development projects, both offline and online. 7,000 hours of educational content have been created. Online broadcasts of events and video content have been viewed more than 2 billion times. The regional branches of the Society operate in 89 regions of the Russian Federation.
